23 October 2024 A.D. District Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Shafiul Alam and Superintendent of Police of Barguna District Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil monitored Barguna Sadrasth market for the increase in commodity prices. During the market monitoring, the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police spoke to various consumers and urged the shop owners to sell essential products at the price fixed by the government. Also, the traders should follow the government guidelines to ensure that the price of the goods is at a tolerable level and the people can buy the consumer goods at a fair price, above all, the suffering of the people should be reduced. At that time, the leaders of the market committee along with the senior officials of the police and administration were present.
