Citizen Charter

01. Bangladesh Police is an institution providing services to the public.

0. Every citizen has equal access to legal rights in every police station, irrespective of race, religion, color and political / social / economic class.

03. The person coming to the police station will be given first service.

04. The police will show respect to all the people seeking help and will be respected.

05. The Duty Officer will provide serious cooperation to the person who is requesting the GD to the police station and the second copy of the application will be accompanied by the signature and seal of the GD No., date and related officer and to the applicant. Action will be taken as soon as possible on GD related issues and the receipt of the acceptance process will be notified to the applicant again.

06. An oral / written statement of the person who is going to file the case will be registered by the officer in-charge and inform the person in the name and post of the number, date and time of the case and the investigating officer. The officer investigating officer will regularly inform him about the progress of the investigation and after the completion of the investigation, he will report the result in writing.

07. If the officer in charge / police officer officer fails to enter the case of a person who is suing him in the case, then the applicant will apply the above matter according to the following rules:

(A) Appeal to the Assistant Superintendent of Police (Circle).

(B) If he does not take action on the matter, then the person will apply to the District Superintendent of Police.

(C) If he does not take any action regarding that person, then the person will apply to the concerned DIG.

(D) If any of them do not take any action in this regard, the High Court will appeal to the inspector for remedies in the matter.

08. All the injured will be provided with the help of the police station and the police will collect all the medical certificates.

09. Regarding the child / juvenile offender, the provisions of the Children Act, 1974 will be followed and they will not be able to come in contact with any adult offender in any way. For this reason, in all the police stations of the country, the child will be recruited.

10. Ensure overall security through female police / female victims as far as possible.

11. One stop delivery service has been started in some thanas. In that case, those OneSTep Delivery Service Centers will be introduced in all the police stations.

12. Victim Support Units will be started in all the phases of the country for overall co-operation of injured / mentally challenged victims.

13. All the inquiries regarding passport / verification / firearms license etc. will be completed in 3 (three) days after the investigation is completed and the report will be sent to the concerned unit.

14. Complaint can be made against the senior authority if there is no complaint against the police or if there is no complaint against any police force.

 

In that case, the senior authority

(A) take effective legal action within 15 (fifteen) days of receiving the written complaint and it is to the complainant

Please notify.

(B) Listen carefully to the person's person's statement, take necessary action and do so

Let the complainant know.

(C) Take necessary measures based on the news received from the telephone.

15. All Superintendents of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, ASP (Headquarters), concerned Circle ASP and Officer-in-charge of Golam Police Station will appear in public places in all the police stations.

16. All the duty officers at the district will be able to provide assistance to all the helpers during the scheduled time on every working day.

17. Police personnel of the thana will maintain a constant contact with the community and start a community oriented police service.

18. Senior police officers will carry out crime prevention / public relations meetings with regular communities and seek legal remedy for social problems.

19. Provide police clearance certificates to the dependents abroad for higher education / higher education.

20. If any company withdraws a lot of money from the bank, then the police escort will be arranged according to demand for taking those terms.

21. Traffic departments in the traffic control of the district town, what services related to traffic will be displayed in the public place.
