On the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja/2024, Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil, visited various Puja Mandaps in Barguna district to supervise the duty of the officer force deployed on law and order duty and to monitor the law and order situation of the Puja pandaps.
During the visit to Sarvajanin Akhrabari Puja Mandap, leaders of Puja Celebration Committee along with Sadar Circle and Officer In-charge, Barguna Police Station were present. At this time, they formally inaugurated the puja of 122 puja mandaps of Barguna district including this puja mandap by lighting the mangal lamp. The guests including the Superintendent of Police presented their views on the matter of celebrating the puja in a festive atmosphere by maintaining social harmony and religious harmony and gave necessary directions to the concerned to maintain the law and order situation.
