There is no alternative to creating a drug-free creative society in building the Sonar Bangla of Bangabandhu's dream. To implement this goal, Barguna District Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Rafiul Alam, PPM-Seba, has adopted zero tolerance policy against drugs and directed an all-out anti-drug campaign.
In continuation of this, 16/07/24 AD. At 05.30 in the morning during the illegal drug recovery operation in Taltali Police Station area of Barguna district, the accused Md. Jahangir Howladar (48) was arrested from Taltali Bazar Battala intersection with the help of Officers-in-Charge, Taltali Police Station, Taltali Police Station SI Mamun Sangeet. Father- Deceased Arshed Ali, Sang Pawa Para (Baritla) Ward No. 3 Nishanbaria UP, Police Station- Taltali, District- Barguna was arrested with 32 liters of distilled liquor.
A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act.
