On December 18, 2024, at 7:30 PM, Barguna District Police organized the Winter Pitha Festival-2024 at the residence of the Police Superintendent with the police members working in Barguna district and officials of various district government offices. Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil, the Honorable Superintendent of Police of Barguna district, was present as the president of Pitha Festival-2024. Mr. Mohammad Shafiul Alam, Deputy Commissioner of Barguna; Mr. Md. Zahurul Islam Howlader, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops); Md. Abdul Halim, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Barguna. At this time, officers and forces of the district police along with other senior officials of the government offices of Barguna district were present. This Pitha Festival was organized to make some time enjoyable amidst the busy work of the police and to maintain the ancient traditions of rural Bengal.
