Today, Monday (January 20, 2025) at 10:00 am, the 'Range DIG's Grand Master Parade' was organized by the District Police at the Police Lines Barguna Parade Ground to increase the physical fitness of the police members and strengthen their morale in the workplace. The parade salute was received by the Honorable DIG of Barisal Range, Md. Manjur Morshed Alam. After receiving the salute, the Honorable DIG said in his speech that there is no alternative to regular parade practice to prevent everyone from behaving in a way that undermines the dignity of the police or destroys the standards and to develop them as smart and legal police. Besides, he expressed satisfaction with the discipline and overall issues in the parade and gave guidance to the officers and forces present on various issues including discipline, dressing according to dress rules, health awareness, cleanliness and good behavior with the public, and professionalism in daily work, and thanked the officers and forces for displaying the beautiful parade.

Then at 04.00 pm, Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Superintendent of Police, Barguna, chaired a "Range DIG's Special Welfare Meeting" with the participation of police members of various ranks of Barguna District Police. The Honorable DIG of Barishal Range, Mr. Md. Manjur Morshed Alam, was present as the chief guest.

In the meeting, the DIG listened attentively to all the problems of the forces present and gave decisions on various important issues. In addition, in his speech, he gave various directions on issues related to increasing the morale of the force, discipline and welfare and instructed all concerned including the Superintendent of Police to ensure its implementation. Senior officers of the District Police Barguna and police members of various ranks were present in the meeting.

At 07.00 pm, a "Law and Order Matters" discussion meeting was held at the Barguna District Police Superintendent's office under the chairmanship of Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil, Superintendent of Police, Barguna with officers in charge of all circle police stations, outpost in charge and officers at all levels. The Honorable DIG of Barishal Range, Mr. Md. Manjur Morshed Alam, was present as the chief guest. He gave various directions on law and order matters.
