Barisal Range DIG Mr. Barguna District Journalists attending the exchange meeting

September 18, 2024 AD. Mr. Md. Manzoor Morshed Alam, DIG of Barisal Range decorated the seat of the chief guest of the press conference organized by Barguna District Police. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Md Ibrahim Khalil, Superintendent of Police, Barguna. Meanwhile, the chief guest introduced himself to all the journalists present. Later he asked the journalists about various issues of the district. Journalists present at this time highlighted the various problems of the district.

The DIG of Barisal range said in his speech that the issues raised by the journalists will be resolved by the district police in coordination with other institutions and action will be taken soon.

Also present at the time were Superintendent of Police, Range Office, Barisal Mr. Shafiqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Mr. Mohammad Mozammel Hossain; Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Mr. Md. Zahurul Islam Hawladar and Assistant Superintendent of Police (promoted to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police), Staff Officer to DIG, Range Office Mr. Sohail Parvez, Barisal and other rank officers of District Police along with print and electronic media journalists. DIG Barisal Range in his concluding speech highlighted various valuable guidelines for impartial news dissemination with honesty and dedication of journalists.
