Weekly Master Parade, Kit Parade and Monthly Welfare Meeting and Crime Meeting Held

Today, November 17, 2024, at 08.30 am, at the Barguna District Police Weekly Master Parade held at the Barguna Police Lines ground, Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil received the salute and delivered a speech to the force officers. After the parade, the Superintendent of Police visited the armory, vehicle branch, ration store and police hospital. Then at 09.00 am, a kit parade was held at the Barguna District Police Lines with police officers and members. After receiving the salute, he inspected the kits issued in the names of the police members and verified them against the relevant register. Finally, he gave a guideline speech to the police members on various issues including the proper issuance of kits and their proper use and thanked everyone and declared the program over. At 10.30 am, the monthly welfare meeting was held at the drill shed of the Police Lines under the chairmanship of the Superintendent of Police, Mr. Mr. Md. Ibrahim Khalil. In the said welfare meeting, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Mr. Mohammad Mozammel Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Mr. Md. Zahurul Islam Howlader, along with in-charges and police members from all circles, police stations, courts, outposts, investigation centers, traffic and police lines of the district participated. Many of the members present in the meeting raised their problems and the Superintendent of Police immediately provided solutions to them. Then, in his concluding speech, the Superintendent of Police gave various valuable guidelines for the proper implementation of the dos and don'ts of the police. Then, from 12.30 pm, the monthly crime meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Superintendent of Police in the conference room of the police office. In the said crime meeting of October/2024, all the circles of the district, police stations, courts, outposts, and investigation centers were present. In the said crime meeting, a case-by-case analysis of the cases registered in October/2024 was conducted. The Superintendent of Police gave detailed directions to increase the quality of case investigation, arrest warrants, recovery of drugs and illegal weapons, and other illegal items, and to increase the quality of police services through community policing and beat policing meetings. In addition, the Superintendent of Police gave monetary awards to officers in various categories for recovery of illegal drugs, detection of clues and important cases, arrest of warranted accused, and overall performance in the past month.
